Genuine POLYWOOD™

The Original All-Weather Furniture

Since 1990, POLYWOOD has been the industry leader in high-performance outdoor furniture. Our team continues to innovate with new all-weather materials and breakthrough designs at our state-of-the-art facilities in Indiana and North Carolina.

Built on Sustainability

POLYWOOD was founded by two high school friends who set out to solve a growing environmental challenge. Starting from a garage in Indiana, they transformed recycled plastics into a proprietary material that proved to withstand harsh climates and heavy use. Known now as Genuine POLYWOOD™ lumber, this sustainable solution also quickly became the gold standard for outdoor furniture.

“Our integrated approach to sustainability is driven not only by what we make, but how and where we make it.”

On-Site Manufacturing

To deliver consistent quality at scale, we’ve expanded into two vertically integrated facilities with over 2 million square feet of recycling and manufacturing capacity. We extrude lumber, craft furniture frames, and cut and sew commercial-grade cushions and pillows, all in-house with the highest quality control.

Genuine POLYWOOD™ Performance

POLYWOOD furniture offers year-round performance in hot sun, snowy winters, salt spray, heavy winds, and high-traffic spaces. Unlike wood furniture, POLYWOOD never needs to be sanded, painted, or stained—reducing long-term maintenance costs and labor.

Your Outdoor Spaces, Solved

We’re committed to meeting our customers’ needs, project sizes, and bottom lines with a wide range of collections. Our Design and Engineering teams continually innovate, developing new materials and products to better serve you. Trusted by restaurants, resorts, and commercial properties nationwide, we prioritize top-tier customer service in every partnership.
